The real screen, mouse and keyboard.
The Operator controls your Mac visibly. This is the path for desktop apps and screen work that needs the physical session. Pause before using the mouse or keyboard yourself.
For Claude, Codex and other agents
Vised connects the agent you already work with to your Mac. The Operator handles browser and desktop tasks, then reports back so the conversation can keep moving.
Already have Vised?
No endpoint to guess. The app gives you the connection instructions for your Mac.
Make sure Vised is running and its required macOS permissions are enabled. Find Hand to an agent.
Click Copy one-liner and paste it into your Claude or Codex conversation. Your agent follows the connection instructions and introduces itself.
Check the name and purpose. Choose This task only or Always allow. The agent cannot approve its own access.
Ask your agent to inspect a setting, fill a form or work through an app. Follow The Operator’s progress. The outcome returns to your agent.
Agents with access
The Operator controls your Mac visibly. This is the path for desktop apps and screen work that needs the physical session. Pause before using the mouse or keyboard yourself.
For supported browser tasks, sidecar leaves your cursor available. Some steps, including desktop interactions, can require a switch to takeover.
Manage each caller’s mode and choose Revoke under Agents with access. Escape pauses takeover; the panel also has Pause and Stop controls.
The handoff
Your agent keeps the context of the larger task. The Operator handles screen execution, reports progress and can ask for help when a step needs clarification. Access to The Operator is separate from the model choice in Vised’s Settings.
